Home Island Curacao used for the new Sports Tracker promo video

While watching the new Nokia Sports Tracker promo video on the Black N82 mini site I noticed something familiar.  The buildings and tropical setting in the video seemed very recognizable: apparently the guys (and gals) behind Nokia’s marketing have to my surprise chosen to use my home island of Curacao as the setting for the new Sports Tracker video. The video shows Curacao natives walking over the famous Queen Emma bridge, which is also known among tourist as the “Swinging Old Lady,” furthermore you can see what looks like one of our beaches  and screen shots on the computer screen shows pictures of our capitol’s colorful buildings. I think it’s pretty cool that Nokia has decided to mix things a bit and used a more tropical setting for their promo videos. Why not place the next launch video in a tropical setting, discovering hidden beaches and watching the sun set into the horizon?

Have a look at the video and let me know what you think.
